On 13 January 2025, the renovation and refurbishment of the premises here at Tenuta San Giorgio officially began.
An ambitious project, which will change the face of the estate and make it even more welcoming and ready to host numerous visitors.

The interventions will mainly concern the shop, the tasting room, the barrique room and the offices.
In particular, the company shop will more than double in size, with a space of over 130 square metres. A large and bright area, designed to give maximum prominence to our wines, and to guarantee a simple and comfortable shopping experience.
The tasting room, which currently can accommodate up to 20-25 people, will be suitable for up to 50. The light, the light colours, everything is designed to make the most of the proposed experiences and to make the most of each tasting.
But that’s not all: a panoramic terrace will be available for guests who love en-plain-air moments.
For those who desire intimacy, or for those who wish to participate in exclusive tastings or organise events in an elegant location, the barrique room will be made available. A magical place where the slow passing of time and silence reign supreme, to offer our guests unforgettable moments.
This is not the end of the story: the office area will also be expanded and modernised; designed to make operations as easy as possible, to accommodate our partners in spacious premises, and to make the company even more efficient and performing.
The renovation aims to fit harmoniously into the surrounding environment, and to have a positive impact on the local area, thanks not only to energy efficiency improvements and the increasing use of self-produced clean energy, but also with the creation of new jobs.
A bit of history
This intervention is only the latest in a series of improvements concerning Tenuta San Giorgio over the years.
In 2020, for example, a new warehouse was built, the bottling plant was moved and expanded, and new autoclaves were purchased.
The most significant previous interventions date back to the early 2000s, when the first expansion of the production area took place, and to the early 1980s, when the first improvements were made to the office and company shop, and machinery was purchased to conduct the winemaking processes independently.
Since the beginning of the 70s, when Sergio founded the company, the structures have changed a lot; we never stopped, and we want to keep on working to make our estate a growing reference point for Italian sparkling and local wines.
